As a homage to our most popular skirt here at Lychee the Label, the Sakura High Waisted Slit Skort is the sister skirt to our Mochi Strap Chain Skort. Designed with the same basics as Mochi, Our Sakura Skort is also in a slit pleated tennis skirt style. The skirt comes fully attached with hidden shorts underneath to guarantee no mishaps. The hidden short also comes with an adjustable leg strap for that extra edgy appeal. The skirt is lined with two parallel white piping found across the bottom of the skirt, with the intention to mimic a school-girl and varsity aesthetic. The two functional buttons found on the corner of one side can be opened up to reveal the hidden shorts. To wear the skirt, you will have to unzip from the side of our hidden zipper. Our Sakura Slit Skort differs from Mochi, in the way that it is now a high-waisted version of our best-selling skort, and is meant to fit higher on your waistline, giving you the illusion of longer looking legs! Designed with a pastel baby pink, this skort will be the perfect addition to your closet this Spring and Summer.
Mix and Match
Our Sakura High Waisted Slit Skort will pair best with most pastel or light-colored clothing items. The ultimate combo that we suggest for our Sakura Skort is to pair it with our Parfait Zip-Up Crop in white/pink, and our Honey Oversized Cardigan in white/pink. This combination makes for the perfect preppy school-girl-inspired outfit. With coordinating color schemes and styles, this trio will have you looking so youthful! Bonus: finish off with our Sago Reflective Ribbon Socks for a pop of fun. Alternatively, you can elevate your outfit for a slightly more edgy soft grunge aesthetic by pairing this skort with our Meringue Drop Chain Tube Top in white.
I love the design of this skirt so much and got it in a small. When I first got it there was a hole in the shorts just below the zipper but it was a 10min fix with some sewing. I also thought it would be the same sizing as the the mochi button strap skirt since the design and style are similar. However, I compared the two skirts on top of one another and this skirt is actually about an inch or two less on the waist so it fit a bit too tight on me. For reference, my sizes are 29in waist and 36in hip. In terms of length, its also longer than the mochi, which I don’t mind since they are both cute. Hope this is helpful for those who already own the black mochi skirt. Love, love the skirt regardless tho!
It’s just so freakin cute! It’s so unique compared to all of the other pleated skirts from other brands that is trendy right now.
i love this skirt so much! it's really comfy too, the only problem i had was the shorts part was a little too big on me (i got a size small but i'm usually xs) so it looks a little funky. nothing i cant fix tho!
Super cute as expected! Comfy, relaxed fit. Hoping Lychee does XS as a size one day! Skort matches more than a couple tops, so it's not limited to just one or two outfits. Perfect example of "feminine with an edge"!
