Overview

As you know, our weight can fluctuate quite a bit, so it is important to measure for your current size and not what you think is estimated to fit. This is the only way we can ensure there will be no size issues as the charts provided on all product pages are measured by hand and accurate.

Below is our general size chart that we follow, though slimmer-fitting and looser-fitting styles may measure differently due to design differences. We recommend using this size chart as a frame of reference to help you better understand where you fall in between all our available sizes from Small to Extra-Large.

For all measurements, please make sure not to wrap the measuring tape too tightly. It should sit comfortably at the length when you are breathing out and relaxed. Hold the measuring tape in place, with it parallel to the floor to ensure a uniform measurement. Any sagging from the measuring tape from it being held at an angle will ultimately affect your results. We do recommend measuring twice to be sure your number is the same. Our charts will typically feature these measurements:

BUST

The measurement of your chest/bust is used for clothing articles such as our tops and dresses. To ensure you are measuring your bust correctly, take one end of your measuring tape and wrap it around the fullest part of your chest while making sure that the tape is still parallel to the floor. The tape should go under our arm and back out to meet the tip. It is more accurate to measure based on this method than to go by your bra size. As you know, the cup size does not indicate a consistent sizing as the band can differ per person. As a result, we recommend you use this measurement to gauge if a shirt or dress is a good fit. When asking for help on what size would best fit you, please indicate your chest size thought inches/cm and not bra size.

WAIST

The measurement of your waist is used for clothing articles such as our tops, dresses and pants. To find an accurate measurement of your waist, we recommend targeting your ‘natural waist’. This is also known as the narrowest part of your waist. This is typically around the area that is below your rib cages but above your belly button. When measuring your waist, please ensure that you are breathing out when you take down the number. This will help with a more accurate reading as it measures the maximum width you need.

HIP

The measurement of your hip is used for clothing articles such as our bottoms and dresses. To get an accurate measurement for your hips, you will have to stand upright first and foremost. Keep your legs together and take one end of the measuring tape and place it on where you think is the fullest part of your hips. Make sure the measuring take is parallel to the floor and goes over your buttocks. Going over your hip bones, you will now meet the measuring tape back to where it started. This measurement can be tricky when done alone, so we recommend asking a friend to help if this makes it easier for you!

As a result, we highly recommend checking the specific product description for a more accurate size chart and fit description. She’s one of the most unique skirts available at Lychee the Label and it’s not hard to see why. Wasabi is a pleated strappy zipper skirt that is a versatile and stylish piece of clothing that can add a touch of edge to any wardrobe. The pleats allow for a sense of movement and fullness while the straps and zipper detailing add a modern and edgy accent to the skirt. This skirt is great for its versatility as it can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. If you’re looking for something a little more casual, you can rock this skirt with one of our basic Lychee pieces and keep it comfy and casual. However, you can also really amp up the edgy factor and layer in pieces to really make your outfit stand out. The unique adjustable zipper detail found in the front of the skirt, along with its multiple dangling straps, really add to that grunge aesthetic, meanwhile, the A-line skirt shape helps bring back the sense of femininity and delicacy to the piece still. Overall Wasabi is a pleated strappy skirt that is a must-have for any woman’s closet. It is versatile, stylish, and can be worn for a variety of occasions.

Mix and Match
Wasabi pleated strap skirt works great with a variety of Lychee pieces that we currently have. One piece that we find pairs perfectly with Wasabi is our Longan mesh strap collared top. This top seems like a match made in heaven as they both complement each other well with their dark tones and strappy detailing. This top also gives off the illusion of layers with its mesh sleeve, as with the skirt it’s its pleated layers. For something a little dressed down and more casual, try pairing our Wasabi skirt with a piece like Genmaicha and basic sneakers. This top, while simple, really makes an edgy statement through its asymmetrical design and strappy waist tie. It’s a top that would go really well with a skirt that has similar characteristics.

Super cute and I love the zipper details since I can go for either a tight skirt or something a little more flowy! There are a couple different ways you can tie the straps too so it’s fun to mess with them

Another staple that I've been looking for !

I've been looking for a nice black slit skirt that also hugs my curves and gives a nice shape,,, well, I've finally found it ! Not only that, but I looove the inclusion of the straps not only above near the waist, but also on the bottom, and the fact you can also zip the slits up or down to your own liking ! The customization is A+ ! The only thing is that I wish the fabric was stretchy (&maybe a biiiit softer) so I could wear it lower near my hips instead of my waist, but it still looks great ! Definitely found that staple slit skirt I've been looking for ! Can't wait to pair it with everything and all my other Lychee tops !

I have large hips for my petite frame as well as thicker thighs, so I normally go for a size Medium in Lychee's bottoms, (and this accented them nicely) !

Cute

The skirt is well made and cute. I initially ordered an XL size due to my curvy figure, but I found that the skirt ended up being a bit on the short side for my liking. It would have been more comfortable if the underlayer had a bit more stretch, as it tended to ride up while moving or sitting. However, despite these minor issues, the skirt remains very cute and trendy. One standout feature is the option to customize the slit with zippers, which adds a unique touch and allows you to control the length of the slit to your preference.

Super cute

The skirt was a bit confusing at first but it looks absolutely cute and comfortable. I love the zipper can be adjustable to match with whatever look you want.

This skirt is very good quality. I did get a small, but I wish I would've got a medium, as it's a bit tight around the waist. I'm 5'2, 115 lbs, and my measurements are 25 inch waist, 33 inch bust, 34 inch hips. Use a tiny bit of grease on the zippers so they flow smoothly and you'll be golden.
