Below is a general size chart, but please be aware each product may fit slightly differently and refer to the product description and reviews for a better idea.

Overview

As you know, our weight can fluctuate quite a bit, so it is important to measure for your current size and not what you think is estimated to fit. This is the only way we can ensure there will be no size issues as the charts provided on all product pages are measured by hand and accurate.

Below is our general size chart that we follow, though slimmer-fitting and looser-fitting styles may measure differently due to design differences. We recommend using this size chart as a frame of reference to help you better understand where you fall in between all our available sizes from Small to Extra-Large.

For all measurements, please make sure not to wrap the measuring tape too tightly. It should sit comfortably at the length when you are breathing out and relaxed. Hold the measuring tape in place, with it parallel to the floor to ensure a uniform measurement. Any sagging from the measuring tape from it being held at an angle will ultimately affect your results. We do recommend measuring twice to be sure your number is the same. Our charts will typically feature these measurements:

BUST

The measurement of your chest/bust is used for clothing articles such as our tops and dresses. To ensure you are measuring your bust correctly, take one end of your measuring tape and wrap it around the fullest part of your chest while making sure that the tape is still parallel to the floor. The tape should go under our arm and back out to meet the tip. It is more accurate to measure based on this method than to go by your bra size. As you know, the cup size does not indicate a consistent sizing as the band can differ per person. As a result, we recommend you use this measurement to gauge if a shirt or dress is a good fit. When asking for help on what size would best fit you, please indicate your chest size thought inches/cm and not bra size.

WAIST

The measurement of your waist is used for clothing articles such as our tops, dresses and pants. To find an accurate measurement of your waist, we recommend targeting your ‘natural waist’. This is also known as the narrowest part of your waist. This is typically around the area that is below your rib cages but above your belly button. When measuring your waist, please ensure that you are breathing out when you take down the number. This will help with a more accurate reading as it measures the maximum width you need.

HIP

The measurement of your hip is used for clothing articles such as our bottoms and dresses. To get an accurate measurement for your hips, you will have to stand upright first and foremost. Keep your legs together and take one end of the measuring tape and place it on where you think is the fullest part of your hips. Make sure the measuring take is parallel to the floor and goes over your buttocks. Going over your hip bones, you will now meet the measuring tape back to where it started. This measurement can be tricky when done alone, so we recommend asking a friend to help if this makes it easier for you!

Please note as mentioned earlier that some items may run smaller/bigger depending on the exact product you’re looking for. As a result, we highly recommend checking the specific product description for a more accurate size chart and fit description. The following size chart above is a generalization for the majority of our products. Follow our size guide and how to measure to ensure the most accurate fit.

Description

Featuring Lychee the Label's newest skirt addition: Our Mangosteen Strap Pocket A-Line Skirt. Inspired by the classic schoolgirl skirt, the Mangosteen skirt takes elements of that style as we convert it to what we imagine its edgy older sister would look like. What might appear to be a simple black skirt is actually the perfect complement to any women's streetwear styled outfit. While minimal and low key at first glance, our Mangosteen A-line skirt is decked out in subtle details such as its adjustable belt, metal-hole straps and buckle pocket. The unique strappy pocket can be removed from its designated clasp, and features a roomy and practical space to store small goods such as lip balms or hand creams. This is all secured within its strapped and buckled compartment. Please note that the two buttons on the pocket are for aesthetics and not actually functional. Additionally, the strap that is found hanging across the skirt also has the ability to be detached from the skirt belt loop for a highly customizable skirt. The Mangosteen Strap Pocket Skirt features slightly pleated details on the edges of both sides of the skirt. This allows for the classic A-line shape which enables the bottom half to obtain some volume. The skirt itself is lightweight and comfortable and the perfect grunge addition to any closet.

Mix and Match
Our Mangosteen Strap Pocket A-Line Skirt is such a versatile piece that there’s practically anything you can mix and match it with. If you’re looking for a whole matching crop top and skirt set sort of outfit, we recommend pairing this skirt with our Cabernet Off-Shoulder Oversized Chain Crop Top. They feature the same style of metal hardware straps found hanging across the shoulder and thighs. Mangosteen’s straps are detachable, so you can mix it up and hook it across the pocket or on alternating sides from the Cabernet top. I was eyeing this skirt for a long time so I’m happy to have bought it! I’m usually a small but I did size up so I have more room to adjust :) Super cute!! 🩷

Unexpectedly versatile!!

Skirt quality is great! The buckles and pocket can detach so I can wear this skirt with other outfits too. I love the versatility and I wasn’t expecting it! I’m usually a US medium (6-8 jeans). The size Large was a perfect fit. Waist 29 inches Hips 39 inches if that helps anyone.

Mangosteen Strap Pocket A-Line Skirt

The skirt material was of high quality! The pocket is a really nice touch and versatile, so I can use it on other outfits. I also really like the belt and clip-on belt strap that comes with the skirt for the same reason.

So Prettyy

I ordered a Large (Hips: 98cm/39in & Waist 68cm/27in) and it fits like it was made for me! The belt on top allows it to become more snug if needed, but there is no stretch to the fabric, so if you're between sizes I'd recommend the larger option. The pocket and strap are both wildly cute, very simple additions that make the whole piece such a statement that's so easy to pair with. This is easily my favorite skirt in the wardrobe

A great basic with unique details!

I needed a plain black skirt but didn't want one that was too basic so this was a great choice; love the pocket / chain details that give it a more unique twist :) The only thing I will say is that it was not as thick as I thought it'd be, and I also thought it would be more pleated (only 2 pleats, one on each side). Still really satisfied though! Will add a picture when I get the chance to take a fit pic in it!

I love how the skirt looks! It would be nice if it has built in shorts underneath too but no biggie.
